Erdinger
Erdinger Weissbrau dates back to 1886, which is the year where wheat beer brewing in Erding began. In 1935, the brewery was purchased by Franz Brombach after several changes to ownership and was renamed Erdinger Weissbrau on December 27, 1949.
Franz's son Werner entered the business in 1965. He became successor to the brewery in 1975 and still leads this successful brewery in the present. Currently, the promotion focuses on brand identity, which emphasizes the values of old Bavarian beer speciality and qaulity standards.
In the present, Erdinger Weissbier is popular around the globe and the traditional brewery has established itself as a national and international leader in weissbier.
The Erdinger Brewery is one of Germany's largest private breweries.
According to WBC:
The integrity of private breweries is essential to a strong beer market. Especially since Erdinger is a recognized leader in producing delicious Weissbier.
