Blog 20 Apr 2012 WBC Update

Greetings,

It has been an exciting month and a half since we launched the site and it has been a work in development.  A lot of people visit the site daily, but there has still been confusion over what World Beer Collection is?  Our team has been working hard to continue to expand and develop the site.  Currently, a member of the site enjoys the opportunity to add their favorite beers to their beer list, favorite beer list and add those beers that we dream of to your wish list.  Members can rate a beer, which we are currently working on making more user friendly; as well members can review beers, which will also become more userable in the next month,

Our IT team is working constantly on ensuring that we do not rush a product that will not be sustainable.  Adding beers will become easier as we move to adding beers fromt he main page.  One bragging point is that WBC offers the best beer profile pages on the net, with these pages you can send your favorite beer through facebook, add to your pin board on Pinterest, send out through Twitter, Google plus it and send to your work friends through LinkedIn.

The WBC team is constantly promoting the site and are looking into getting a Mobile App very soon, which will assist in creating a more on the go userable experience.  As well, the Member profile page will be developing in the next while.

The WBC team has been busy promoting the website through our YouTube Channel WBCTheBeerShow, as we have hit over 2,000 views in 3 episodes, for shich we thank our loyal viewers.  This comedic skit approach to enjoying beer is meant to promote beer, the website and have some fun.  The WBC team took a trip to Paddock Wood in Saskatoon to visit with President and CEO, Steve Cavan and we will be posting episode 4 tonight.

WBC continues to update the 750 followers on Twitter and the 176 likers on Face Book, which is great for a website that just launched over a month ago.  We are getting started with our Pinterest board and are excited to announce our road trip to Half Pints in Winnipeg at the end of the month for a visit.

The WBC will be going overseas to Belgium, as CEO Roy Pogorzelski reunites with COO Nizer to take on Belgium.  CFO John Pogorzelski will be joining up in September after taking care of business.  We are hoping that loyal friends, contacts, social mediaists and people that like beer wil continue to support WBC on their ventures to brining great beer times over the web.

What's Your Favorite Beer?
